Public Health Services and Solutions (PHSS) is established to improve public health worldwide with geographic focus in Bangladesh and SAARC countries (Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan and Maldives). We bring state of the art technology and management particularly of human resource management, project management to improve health programs and outcomes in the region. PHSS develops and uses information technology including Geographic Information System (GIS), mobile and web based applications to improve monitoring and evaluation of public health programs.
PHSS works with public and private sector and mobilize resources for disadvantaged and marginalized population to improve access and care including availability of drugs and laboratory services. We also conducts operations research and produce knowledge based documents to assist government, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) and other international organizations and institutions in policy making and planning of sustainable cost effective high quality health care delivery and services. In addition, PHSS develops internet based public health training and advanced degree programs in collaboration with international organizations and institutions to bring public health education at a minimal cost for grass root health workers, doctors, nurses and health care professionals and community. We work with pharmaceutical companies to make essential drugs available at the community level and export and import essential drugs as necessary, establishes health care maintenance organizations and insurance to improve access of primary health care in rural and low income populations.
Dr.Siddiqi is a medical graduate with Masters in Nutrition from London University. He received his Diploma in Child Health from University of Dublin, Ireland. He studied public health at Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand and George Washington University, USA. He has a Diploma in Management from Denmark. He is the recipient of DANIDA and Aga Khan Fellowship Award. As a public health physician he worked for many international organizations including ICDDR, B, Aga Khan Foundation, John Snow Inc.(JSI), Management Sciences for Health (MSH), Academy for Educational Development (AED), Save the Children, Action Against Hunger, and Project Hope and consulted for Unicef, WHO, World Bank and OXFAM. Dr.Siddiqi worked in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Nigeria, Uganda, Senegal, UK, Ireland and USA. Dr.Siddiqi founded Public Health Services and Solutions (PHSS) in 2006 to build a network of public health experts and provide state of the art solution to public health problems around the globe. PHSS is committed to improve health across nations, develop management capacity of health system and use information technology to improve public health.
